The Treasured Ship
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Explore a ship looking for your father's long-lost treasure. Solve puzzles, find clues, and decipher riddles as you venture into the depths of the ship!
This was my first Unity game, and was made for a final class project, so I would love any feedback! I'm estimating that the game should take about 15-30 minutes to play.
How to Play:
- WASD: Move
- Mouse: Look around
- Click: Interact with objects
- Spacebar: Jump (handy for climbing ladders)
- Esc: Pause/Help Menu
- Q: Toggle camera rotation (great for puzzles)
- C: Toggle cursor position (keep in center or let it move freely)
- The cursor will light up red when it's over an object that can be interacted with in some way (ie. it can be picked up, an inventory item can be used with it, or it can be activated in some way). A blue cursor means the object cannot be interacted with.

Hi qubodup! The first key goes to a door on the ship (I think you tried opening every door but the one that works). The cursor should glow red when you're over it. It's the one to the right on the main level that's in front of you when you first start out.
Thanks, now I got 6 scrolls, one of which I'm not sure whether it is a J, I or L (I'm guessing L) and I have the 4/3/2/1 notes as well. I can't figure our the
Sᴎ∩⅁ riddle though. I tried clicking pistols, canons, muskets and the triangle key highlights red when pointing with it on the entrances to the hold but has no effect. Wish the cursor was centered to the camera.
It's actually an I :). Have you figured out the books with the music yet? The only "clickable" things are highlighted in red, so you don't need to worry about clicking everything possible. I also updated the game so that you can toggle camera rotation on/off by pressing Q, which should help with the camera, so if you want you can re-download it. There's also a new toggle C that toggles that cursor to either be fixed to the center of the screen or movable. Let me know if you need anything else! And thanks for continuing to try playing the game; I really appreciate the feedback.
That's great to hear! I did the music puzzle (it became ok once I started writing the sequence down). I think without solving that puzzle, I wouldn't be able to read the note about the
ᴎ∩⅁ puzzle. Still no idea how to continue though. Even climbed the crow's nest. Nothing. :)
